There’s just something about stepping out of your home town to do missions that changes the attitude and purpose in the hearts of the kids. It’s always an amazing thing to step back and watch the children lead, especially in unfamiliar soil. Each year we take a missions trip with our PEAK students to give them an opportunity to reach out to others with the love of Christ.
Through our missions trips, the students and leaders have seen God do miraculous things. The imprint that is made on a child's heart when they see blind eyes opened or the crippled walking is simply unforgettable. When they experience the harvest of their faith, it makes an eternal deposit in their life.
In addition to traveling outside of our state, we have monthly opportunities to serve locally in our community through our Oasis Outreach Ministries. Serving in our local homeless shelter, ministering to the children less fortunate through Adopt a Block and even delivering food to our less fortunate families allows for our PEAK kids to be instruments of Christ's love and compassion.
